- "You've got to be original, because if you are like someone else, what do they need you for?" Greetings from Apsley Acers Apsley Acers is the name of our hundred plus acres of enchanted forest. Tucked away within its beauty is our circa 1875 log cabin, with many added additions, interesting bits and unique pieces. My best friend and soul mate Tom of 30 plus years and our new to us dog Geeko also enjoy this private "safe" haven.. our own personal Shangrala. Our world is ever evolving as we work through the wonders of living well - growing organic vegetables, herbs and flowers - wild foraging for both medicinal and edible plants. My artistic passion often finds me on a tangent in my studio - I design and make jewelry from raw rock ~ paint and get up to all sorts of creative projects as the wheel of the year turns. With my MCS (multiple chemical sensitivities) we work hard at making our home and acreage as chemically free as possible, so I am safe to wander at will. Topics will be varied - often a bit crazy but never dull! - hope you enjoy your visit. We are so very fortunate. Life is Good!
